Help please, my 1971 skylark has front drums. I put new shoes on it, but the brake pedal still travels almost right to the floor board before I get a complete stop. Why, why??? Also, when I hit the brakes hard it pulls to the right. Please help

    1. Are the shoes installed correctly, small one in front.

    2. After you installed the new shoes and put the drums back on, you manually tighten up the brake adjusters to LOCK each wheel, then back off to get an even light scraping sound.

    3. Bleed all the brakes at each wheel, starting from the furthest from the m/c.
