Hey guys we are in the process of putting the suspension together for the race car. I have all the goodies from H n R out back and have completely rebuilt everything up front. I need some help on fabbing up some travel limiters. What is the best way to do this? Thanks guys for helping out a newbie.

I found some 7/16" X 4" stainless threaded rods in a friends shop. I put the rod thru the control arm in the flat area above the ball joint and glued a rubber pad on the frame rail where it would hit(to keep the noise down and minimize damage). I put one stainless nut on top, one underneath and a third at the end of the rod to widen the footprint where it hits the frame so it wouldn't poke a hole in the frame eventually. I locked the bottom nut on the rod in position with Loctite. I jacked the car up in the air and adjusted each side until the rotors started to have negative camber (lean in). I figured that would be a good starting point. I used a cutoff wheel and cut a slot in the end of the rod to turn it with a large flat blade if needed.
