My Buick Service Manual says the 1965 Wildcat came with 8.15" -15" or 8.45" -15" as an optional size. It doesn't give a height/diameter which can vary quite a bit. Anyone have more info? I want to put the widest tires I can on the factory 15 inch rally's, but I don't want to go to tall and mess up the drive ratio.

Factory tire was about 28” tall, and rhe closest you’ll find to that (without being too wide for a factory rim) is 235/70/15. That’ll be tough to find in a whitewall but it’s common in a white letter/blackwall.
