I have a 3/4 ton Suburban that is going to need new tires soon. It is generally just used as a daily driver, but I do tow my car on a trailer a few times a year. I'm looking for an E load range tire that is durable, quiet, and decent in the rain. Any thoughts ?

I just run any good 8 ply that I like on my trucks for towing.
Tried 10 ply that the local tire store had but it was like I had no suspension! Those things were hard as rocks!
Mine see more gravel road use with a trailer than you probably will though.

TexasT Texas, where are you from

I like my Michelin LTX s . Not cheap but I am able to get 60k miles out of them on the front. Wifes Daily and our trailer tower. I'm about to drop some coin on some new ones, too.

Go for the LTX MS2's with a 70k mile warranty. Michelin is running a rebate through the end of the month.
Just put a set on my 1 ton.
Unbelieveable difference in ride vs. the OE tire.
