Getting down to the end of the LeSabre (RaSabre aka Racesabre) build and one of the items on the list is rear tires. Car has the big car rallies and 5x5 bolt pattern. Need to put a decent set of drag radials on them and make it look somewhat stock.(BSA) Heres the rub. these tires cost big $'s and I cannot seem to find what I want in the size I need. Fronts are 225/70/15 which is 28" tall. Mickey Thompson has a tire 28x9 but its a pro bracket radial and bald. seeing as how I'll be doing some driving on the street with this car a small amount of tread would be needed. Really dont wanna spend 300$ each on tires that may only get used during the nationals. Open to suggestions

Get some cleanser and scrub those white walls clean. Sorry Steve, that’s not a very good suggestion. Boy people are quiet today.

235/60-15 drag radials will give you a bit more gear. I use them on my Roadmaster. Mine are BFG but MH makes them now in that size.
Unfortunately prices have gone up lately big time....
    Maybe score a used pair....

    Briz, P225/70R-15 is 27.40" tall. The P235/70R-15 is 28".

When I get the radials mounted will flip the fronts so the WW is on the inside. Those tires are 3 yrs old, brand new and only sat parked after bolting them on the car

But how well will they fit onto a stock 6.5-7" factory wheel? When converter was ordered I used 28" tall for the tire specs

Ive decided on the MT ET Street S/S P255/60R15. Seeing as time is running short I'll probably pay the 270$ ea asking price. Gonna hate it but what ya gonna do?
