Wanted to know what you guys thought of painting a Buick Regal in the 70's GSX paint scheme? I asked a while back about it, in a different thread. I got some responses and pics. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?208777-80-s-Buick-Regal-with-GSX-stripes&highlight= My thoughts are keeping all the chrome trim, accept for the grill and give mine the same treatment as what is was done in the pictures. Also keep the chrome headlamp bezels and put one GNSPerformance's Blacked out lens covers in it. Paint it GM's Synergy Green (Paint code WA708S/GHS ), or a Lime Green (kinda like Mopar) with the black out stripes of course. Now the deveation from the norm.... thats where your thoughts come in. Put on GNX Flares? Run a Regal flat hood with a GSX Stg2 Scoop or keep the GN hood? Keep my half landau vinyl Roof and dye it black or strip it off? Lowered with 17" or 18" Billet Ralleys. My opinion..I don't like the idea that much.But...It's not mine and each of us have their own ideas for their cars. I absolutely like the 2 tone version above though. There are so many options you could go with on the 2 tone. I think adding the GNX flares,scoops and spoilers would make it even better..Let us know your ideas.
To do what I did is pretty simple if you have access to an xbox 360, then all you need is a copy of forza 2 and its got a gnx on it that you can play around in the paint portion of the game. This is one of many concepts I was working on for my own regal. Just wish I could get rid of the silly photo lens thing that distorts the picture in the center but whatever it gives you an idea of what your after.
