Ordered this to replace my mirror glass. $22 or $27. It fits, but the cut is wrong. Going to a glass shop would have been a better choice.

    C- for quality

    At least they tried…

    pics soon

If u can find a decent mirror and glass I have soaked the mirror head in goof off and salvaged a factory glass. The re-pops never fit well

I've used Burco for side view mirrors (sport mirrors) :

As indicated above they are close but not identical to original equipment. Most used originals have their cosmetic issues also.

This guy does a pretty good job showing how to replace the glass as well as restore the mount.

He also has a video explaining the differences between early and later style sport mirrors. It’s Camaro but the early 70-72 mirrors are the same as ours.

If you remember the “Look” series by motor mite, replacement SPORT MIRROR glass part numbers are:
    51013 drivers side. 5 x 2-7/8” 5” diagonal.
    51005 passenger side. 5-1/4 x 2-7/8” 5-5/16” diagonal.

I’ve used these and never had an issue with them not fitting. They dropped right in.

I recall that there was a Vendor selling date coded (repro) mirror glass, but I can't recall the name. Anyone know?

Are we talking about rear or side view mirror glass?
