ray: Got a call Sunday and found out that my step boys ( I consider them mine ) Dad had had a brain aneurysm while out for a walk . Somebody found him lying face down some time later and called the paramedics . Surgery was Sunday and they removed a portion of Dana's brain . Prayers for Dana and the boys sure would be helpful . My mother had the same thing about 3 years ago, 1 burst and she had 3 others about to burst, they managed to "coil" them. I will be thinking of you's. All is fine now, so I pray all will go good with you also.
Bruce & Shirl, wishing all the best here. My wife underwent brain surgery in '09 for a different problem and it was successful, but it's been a long recovery that's still ongoing. We send prayers and positive wishes. Devon

Thanks for your best wishes and prayers everyone ! Dana has not responded to anyone or anything as of this time . The boys are taking this as good as a guy can take seeing thier Dad in this condition . When Shirley and I married those boys went thru a real tough time and it took years for all of us to become a family . When something like this happens it sure makes you stop and think and think about life in a whole new way . All of a sudden peoples lives are changed and what was so important to you at one time just doesn't matter any more . Update , Dana still has not opened his eyes or spoke a word since surgery . He has an infection from the surgery that they are dealing with at this time . The boyz are doing the best they can with the situation as it is . One day at a time . Thanks to all for your prayers . ray:
