Update. Lots done, no change. Got a new set of the 70 n^ rockers and bar from TA. Switched from the Hybrid adjustable pushrods to the reg adj pushrods. Went through the whole lash thing again and using the calipers adjusted all 16 to the required length. Put it back together and its exactly the same. One thing that peaked my curiosity was when I went to reassemble I picked up and installed the same 4 bolts as was in the irons then the new heads. Screwed em down and they bottomed out before the rocker bar got tight. Had an Ahhhh haaa moment. Measured and they were 2" long. grabbed a set off another engine and those were 1.75" . For a little bit was thinking , Thats why! The little saddle thats on the 430 rockers were .188 so that would barley take up the difference before the bolt bottomed out. As it turns out it was a non factor. Was really hoping for some improvement. I'll live with it for now but in the future may go to a solid cam / lifter combo
