Temp up and down after coolant flush

    Not me. The only thing I recommend is if you are going to buy an aluminum radiator, look for one that has 2 rows and tubes that are a minimum of 1" long. If you see a 3 or 4 core aluminum radiator advertised, don't bother.

    Your rad is 50 yrs old.. Dont you have a good rad shop in your area.

    i wont Larry , thanks . not answering the phone or they are closed , will try later or monday . should the thread size for the trans cooler be the same ?

    Why not take the rad you got and get it cleaned? Be much easier...

    Unless you replace the core, IMO, trying to clean a brass copper radiator is a waste of money. The solder bloom blocks the tubes no matter what they do.
