Is there a group organizing to caravan from San Antonio or Austin? I have some Pontiacs that might be interested in joining up too.

Since this has seemed to die in the "Other Events" forum, who all is planning on going?

Wow, no interest? or are you just getting the word out.

We don't have the suspension together on the race car yet, but we might could get it together enough to have some fun doing the A body shuffle. Me and Tyler will keep watching this to see who all might be going. We really want to meet some of the Texas Buick people.

It's almost 400 miles each way for us, but we aren't afraid to travel.

How many are planning on going? We are trying to get ready.
Only a few things to do to the car to be able to get it in to the trailer. Like paint, since it is masked off, rear suspension, etc. No biggie. Tyler had the car ready for the winter workover, but stopping to come to this deal.

We got the car almost together, we will be going to Oklahoma tomorrow for this event. Anybody else going? We need to get to know a few of you guys so save us a spot if you can. We are going to get there in time tomorrow for some test and tune. Hopefully, somebody can follow us and pick up the parts that fall off.

Mark, we'll be flying the LSPBC Banner! Come find us, we'll try and save as many spots as possible.

I will be in a Black Rainier towing a 99GS.

Having a blast. So far, looks like we are the only Skylark or V8 Buick out here. Maybe more will show up today.

New best time for Tyler. 11.17, with a little ole 464 pump gas motor. 1.58 60'

It was good to meet you guys.

In case your wondering why we missed our call, our car was launching hard enough the radiator came out of the bracket and hit the fan. We tried to patch it with JB weld, but it didn't set hard enough to hold. Tyler was in the staging area when it blew out. We pushed it to the trailer......ticked off. But had a great time.

I thought something might have happened? I remember you now asking about some JB Weld. Sorry for the mishap :Dou: You have plenty of time to fix it for 2010. :beers2:

I was there in my pump gas 464 also. Flat Black tube chassis Apollo(looks suspiciously like a Nova though. LOL) Had a blast as I have for the last 9 years. Proud of all of team Buick for putting it to the Fords.

I ran a personal best on a small shot even though I skated around quite a bit in the left lane in my final. Was looking for a low 9/high 8 ET. Too slippery for that but my 9.33 was good enough to get the job done for us though and that makes me happy to have helped the team.

Great weekend and looking forward to getting started for next year. We are still behind as a team and need all the help we can get next year to add another and bring the score closer. Tell everyone to plan AHEAD in budget and time to come help us out next year. We need more Big Blocks.

PS: Tyler, I meant to come say high as you were so badly making me want to get my 70 Stage1 out of storage/restoration and go burn rubber.
