Im happy to hear your addressing the streetability issue also on the SP3, not just focusing on all out top end!
I am going to try your single plane when it becomes available, as I could stand to trade some of my low end torque for more on the top end.
Only issue I have is what to do with my current TA Stage 1 intake that has been port matched to my heads:eek:

you really go out of your to offend some people like me. no background in r&d'ing a 350. if marcella or whoever you spout is that good, have them spend the r&d and prove a one-off intake is the best out there. until then anything you or they say is bull**** to me. if you or they can't back it up, go away.
can you tell yet i'm very touchy about the 350....

    350, .090 over
    1.88 rod bearings
has seen 300 degs and no problems
does 7500 rpm, has gone 10,000 rpm and didn't break
and the engine just won't blow up. haven't figured that out yet.

    alec296 i need another buick

This Marcella should have advertised 10 years ago when there wasn't any options but still not everyone is going to spend 3 grand on a hand made intake.
Have him produce one to have tested and if it proves itself then find out what his price is to mass produce .the . Otherwise everyone is aboard the SP3

So with what Mike T Posted. His SP3 might be a good intake for the wagon, Along with the heads. I wouldn't mind a little more under the hood. Show some locals what Buick performance is. :3gears::3gears:

He offends more than you and I'm not sure why he is allowed to continue, in many different areas of this board. Maybe he should try the hitting the nailhead guys too?

Anyway, Marcella hasn't done a V8 Buick manifold. We discussed this over on Yellow Bullet a while ago. There just isn't a demand for a manifold like John builds in the Buick world. If someone like Wayne Roberts or Gary Kubisch wants something exotic, then I'm sure John would build it. For the masses, Mike T. does pretty darn good! I'm glad for you 350 guys - you have waited long enough. There is only so much Mike can do, and I for one appreciate his efforts.:TU:

your right. t/a can only do/afford only so much with the small amount of clients available. to bad this wasn't 30 yrs with a lot of 350's around.
I do buy from t/a, but limited due to having a dragster. lot of off the wall stuff. lol

Yes, I agree Marcella hasn't done a buick, why I asked him personally and he said this, "Most of the buick family doesn't have the cash for what I can do for them that's why I do 90% of the fastest cars in the world. My back ground consist of Working for a top fuel team that I will not mention and I left on my own terms to help people get full use of their engines. Yes I have done just about every engine imaginable but buicks!" Now that being said, maybe someone should go back and read what I posted. I said someone should go TRY and SEE if Marcella can help TA make a good intake and later said That Marcella does make intakes and HE CAM MAKE ONE FOR ANYONE BUT ITS NOT CHEAP. I'm sorry if I offended anyone on here, I sometimes say things in a bad way and asked if anyone can correct me if I offended anyone. Now that being said, Marcella is not for the not so rich person and he is the best to get the most out your combo but at a price.

I don't mean to offend you at all but I would like to see some better insight on development of TA's induction parts. Meaning Who is doing his R&D? I talked to my uncle last night about the 350 Buick and he had said a lot of great things about it but he said this in return " to bad their isn't enough aftermarket parts for them because the 350 could be a real nasty street contender if they did." My uncle told me he had only one 350 and 455's and they all ran damn good. you are rt, I shouldve R&D the 350 first. Marcella's intakes are for max effort engines and they are a work of art if you seen one. Again, sorry for offending anyone. Gary M.

What makes you think TA needs you to call anyone for them?

The intake isn't even for sale yet and you are basically saying it isn't good enough unless TA has you of all people make some phone calls for them! :af:

Dude, WTF is your malfunction!?!?! At least build a sbb 350 and buy and use the SP3 before you bash the thing! At the very least build any Buick, anyone can build a sbc and have it run awesome from off the shelf parts with the choice of great aftermarket heads that are available for it and the same with the Ford engine you "said" you built. You want to be a guru you need to stop posting and get out there and build some Buick engines and when you hit your 1,000 HP number and some track wins come on back and tell every how stupid we are, until then get out there and do it. :eek2:

I can see it now when the al heads are closer to being ready you will start with the big name dropping and start bashing that product too! Really dude what is your problem? Seriously.

The 350 guys are lucky that TA is making these parts for us at all and we don't want TA to lose $$ doing it either. If that means a little compromise so they can sell to the street guys and the hardcore guys that want to race a 350 so be it . I would imagine if the 350 were to get more popular and demand was there that TA would make an SP3X and possibly stage 2 sbb 350 aluminum heads(if that's not what they are planning already), time will tell. But right now we don't need a name dropping wanna be to put down products that aren't even made yet. Oh, and sorry if I offended you.

Well I for one am excited and looking forward to the intakes and heads from TA for the 350:TU:
As for the guy talking smack about some whizbang intake company, well I just ignore him, obviously hes inexperienced, and a name dropper as Derek said.
Myself, I speak from my own experience with the Buick 350, I don't know any big names either:Do No:

just think how much smack talk will come out when the heads are made. Idiots.

I am just happy that the intake got made and it looks good to me. It will be a big improvement in the engine.
