I had one of those friction sway controls and wasn't impressed. I couldn't tell any difference if it was on the hitch or in the trailer. I am looking for something better. I found some VERY IMPRESSIVE systems from www.hensleymfg.com but the $2900 price tag is a little out of my range
Mike, that still works off the same principal a the Reese Duel-cam hitch that I got on my Dodge, but about 75% cheaper, I mean less expensive thanks Jim
Jim, Your saying that the hensley hitch and the reese dual cam are basically the same principal? If so thats what I thought too.
Mikey, your problem is over hang, as in belly On my 95 Dodge V10, I had this same problem. I used the dual cam AND the friction control setup and it became very manageable. Not perfect, but 100% more secure than the single bar torsions. I went back to the single bar with my dually. I may even have the dual stuff laying around here. If i find it,. i'll send it to you to try out. J
