    Aloha to all!! :beer
I am happy to say that the 350 is out of my 69 GS and the 455 is in and what a huge difference. It sounds and feels angry. Looks aren't always a factor, but it sure looks good when the hood is popped.
 Anyways, I have this 69 GS with absolutely no power options (no a/c, no p-brakes, no p-steering etc) and I need to get it up and off the ground. It sits way too low, especially with the old 350 springs. I want to tighten up the ride and I'd like her to sit a bit higher & levelled out in the front and rear. I would like to get some solid info so I can get parts ordered right away unless someone out there has what I need for sale. (Springs and shocks for now)
    :3gears: Thanks & Aloha,
    Scott

I had very good success with parts from http://www.p-s-t.com/gm/gmcatalog.html. Their springs are good, original style springs.

I also went with Edelbrock's IAS shocks. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/ias_shocks.htmlI love them. They're soft when you drive regular, but really seem to firm up if you start to drive hard.

By the way, when my wife and I were in Hawaii last year, I really loved when we were driving down the "country" roads getting to an isolated beach. There were sections of highway where there were burnout marks everywhere. I'm guessing it's gangs of kids with their rice burners having some fun on a Saturday night.
