For the more seasoned in terms of age among us. We need the Reynolds Buick or the Superbird or Ingenue, etc. Maybe Coney Island Ralph will be there. He has been down here before at similar events. http://mikehyman.com/
That's one I hope to attend, also..... My wife and I attended in 2008 and had a great time. We got to meet Dave Strickler's widow and family, Grumpy's neighbor (he was at a NHRA meet with someone's Pro Stock), several drivers that I met back in the '60s and '70s, Miss Hurst, Linda Vaughn, and many others. It was an all around fine time! I came home with a Dave Strickler "The Old Reliable" Tee shirt, which I won't wear for fear of messing it up and a Jenkin's Competition baseball cap which I keep in a clean dry place. Not on my sweaty head.
Sunday is also a carryover at Beaversprings Dragway for some great racing and car show. www.beaversprings.com Should try to come and check us out, it's a full day of Nostalgia racing.
