Well, just got back from Memphis. I lost in the second round with a -.003 redlight on what should have been around a .007. I knew when I let go of the button, that I caught the light pretty good but there was nothing I could do about it. What sucks is I went dead on 6 to a 7.60 dragsters .024 light. All I needed was a .018 or better. I had a good car. I feel I could of done really well. The guys out there really weren't any better than the guys I race with every week. Had alot of comments on the Buick and the car hauler. The guy I lost to ended up winning it all, if that helps at all. I'm still not over it yet. Great experience. Got $2000 for the second round loss and tow money. Hope I can do it again sometime. Thanks Scott
They gave me $1000 tow money and $1000 for the first round win. There was 16 cars and the winner got around $90,000 worth of stuff. Thats why I'm pissed. Had the car to do it, but it's all on me. Scott
My chances of making it back are pretty slim. Our track is a wild card track, which means if I win the Summit Super Series for the track, my name gets thrown into a lotto with 4 other tracks then they draw from that for a chance to go to the World Championship. Maybe within the next 5-10 years if I win the Summit points every year. I'm certainly going to try though. Scott
Scott Can you run at Minot, take the box camp there. Then go to Edmonton. Then to the finals. We had a wild card car go from here about 4 years ago. Rick
