If your top becomes stuck open (motor quit, relay not working, ect), is it possible to close the roof by hand?

If you can unbolt the top frame from the lift cylinders, that is the best solution. Otherwise, access the motor from the trunk with a powersource (if the motor is still functional.).

I hope that your switch has not failed...They are unique to the BUICK Skylark/ GS convertibles and to the SPORTWAGON power rear window... Unfortunately there is no decent looking aftermarket switch that fits and works. Hydro-electric makes a conversion kit to change a manual top to a power top. If your factory switch is ok, install two relays and additional required wiring to prevent cooking the switch... I got lucky in that there was a wrecked Sporty in a local 'old school' junkyard for many years.

Thanks. It hasn't quit on me. I'm just think 'what if's' when I'm a long way from home and something like that decides to happen.
