    It's not do much about being cheap it's about getting an aluminum block together,....cranks are forever away,...cam comes are still hard to get,...only a few builders know what needs to be done or are willing to take the time and ask/look,....nothing to do with $$$,...and yea I wouldn't hold my breath on the Betts Block,...

    I will always like CP pistons and GRP pro-material rods. Cranks from Velasco,Bryant,or Crower. Added counterweight,hollow mains for a start. Strong and light.
    You will obviously get a variety of opinions and ideas,but the more info the better.

    Does molnar make a power adder rod for the buick crank Hugger??

    Nahh i had my crower crank and the pistons setup for BBC rods

    Ahh,ok. I didn't think so. I have callies bbc Ultra rods for my 560 but using a molnar crank in my 540,. I think I'm going to have to widen the crank or use aluminum rods
