Just wanted to pass the word around. This weekend there is going to be the Steel Valley Super Nationals held at Quaker City Raceway in Salem Ohio. Racing all day then enjoy east state street where there are plenty of cars cruising, restaurants, shops, a DJ, and a burn out pit. So come on out to Salem Ohio this weekend, lay down some rubber and get some good food. Hope to see some Buicks out here.
I'm going Heard it's a blast. It's $30 car and driver. Just time trials no brackets or eliminations for three days. Then take your car in race trim into Salem city for the nite life. They close the street down for a car coral,car show,burn out competitions.
For all of those who didn't make it out this year, you really missed a good time. The weather was amazing. A tad to hot for racing but its only time trials/test & tune. The city of Salem already announced that they are going to sponsor the event again next year. As far as Buick turn out. I saw a few Grand Nationals, a 455 Regal Stationwagon that ran mid 12's and a couple GS/Skylarks. So mark your calenders for next year, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
