So I know nothing about this. HOWEVER, this car is for sale in Lexington, MA -- where median income is $186K. I don't know the seller but based on location there is a better shot someone spent some money on parts... Looks like a true project... and some negotiation will be required...

1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport Convertible, 4 speed, matching numbers. This is a project as restoration was previously started and car is in pieces. This is the real deal. 401 nailhead motor, factory 4 speed, bucket seats. Rust in typical places-floor, quarters, fenders. Have rust free donor parts (incl nice doors, quarter sections, fender patches). Can be repaired and put back together, or used as parts for another project. Frame is straight. Heads recently done by well known Buick rebuilder. Some new parts with car - front disc brake conversion, control arms, wiring harness. Factory red car, white interior, white convertible top. Email for details.

Not an unreasonable price seemingly (before your best deal) depending on the quality/quantity of parts. @'65softtop4 's was probably a better deal overall & personally I like the colors of his better, but arguably this one is a more desirable color combo & for someone who couldn't afford his & who could do the sheetmetal work themselves it's the holy grail of '65's. 1st thing I'd do is buy the NOS Grille @'65softtop4 has for sale:).

I don't know much about restoring a '65 but if I didn't have any projects (lolol) & was looking for one I'd be interested. Maybe someday I'll just be able to buy @'65softtop4 's once he completes it:).

This reads and sounds more like a bunch of parts than a car

Car-in-a-box. I have 1 of those already:). Hopefully everything is there & maybe even labeled (sure).
