Looking to beat 13.499; fuel pump, carb went bad soon after that trip.
First day the track could open is a week from Saturday-looking kinda bleak for that.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to put the luggage rack back on my 66 when I finally get to working on it again. After looking at yours, I leaning towards leaving it off.

WOW! I thought my '65 deluxe special wagon was a stripped down model. But with radio delete plate, & that steering wheel, you've got me beat.

Does anybody happend to have interior pictures of the back of these '65 sportwagon? if you dont have a 3rd seat, how does it look?
and would a carpet moulding fit from a '65skylark coupe into the wagon?

    thanks

    Whats underneath the rubber mat?
shouldnt it have something sturdy underneath for support?

Oh - the steel body is there. I think the rubber mat lays on it, but I'd have to go look....to be sure!

The carpet for a skylark 4 door will fit, But, It will not cover around the side of the back seat between the door and the seat side,
There should be four pieces of metal floor for the carpet or rubber mat to mount to, One big piece that covers the storage under the floor, Another big piece that cover the next section and mounts to the back seat, And two long thin pieces for the sides. Are yours missing :Do No:

This is in a special wagon like Ted's - not a sporty. There is jute bound to the back of the rubber.

    yes, mine is missing.
I'm missing the back bench that folds down and in the back, there's no floor.
i have 2 sections separated by a metal piece.
The piece closest to the back door, looks like a 3rd seat goes there. How would i know if this wagon came w/ a back seat? I'll see if i can take a picture this weekend and post it.

The easiest way to tell is by the back seat, If the car had a 3rd seat, The 2nd seat would be a split bench, The passenger side of the second row seat would fold forward to access the 3rd seat, Since yours is gone, this won't work, It is possible that there may be extra bolt holes in the floor board on the passenger side where the seat would be. I dunno thou, I know you can check with the vin to find out what it was, I did a search a few years ago when I bought my sporty, From what I remember there were 15000 sport wagons in 66 9000 were 3 seat and 6000 were 2 seat wagons. Mine is a 2 seater, I will try to search for this site again, So you can check by the vin number. I can take pictures of the back floor so you can see what these pieces look like on a 2 seat wagon, Let me know if you want the pics.
These pieces should not be to hard to find if you want them, I know a yard here in S.E. Wisconsin has a few sportwagons and vista cruisers that have these parts, Shipping for the metal pieces should not be to bad, But, The back seat is heavy and would be costly to ship.

    yes, please send me pictures.
and that information you said you might have w/ the vin #'s.
I guess i have to take a trip to the junkyard, probably next month.
If i cant find it here, i'll post a thread that i'm looking for these parts.

    thanks again,
