    Howdy Buick Fans-

I have a 64 Buick Special ( Post version ) that we drag race at Rocky Mountain Raceway in Utah under the name of the "Freaki Tiki" in a 60 's gasser style.

I need to find a source for some solid body bushings to replace my dried out and nearly MIA rubber bushings. Aluminum, Polyeurothane ( -sp? ) or some thing else solid.

Currently running low 13's at 100 mph , which for 4250 ft elevation ain't bad. We run way quicker at Sea Level!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

DR. DOUG and the FREAKI TIKI  :3gears:

I think that the MOROSO catalog has them listed, I'd call Summit or Jegs and have them check that catalog for you. On my '65 I found some thick washers that were cheap and have worked great.

You can buy a complete set of reproduction rubber mounts for $100 from Year-One or OPG. They are harder rubber than the originals, so they may be just what you want.
