Ken Betts Racing has the + sizes for BB Buick, I'll ask him tomorrow if he has any + sizes for the 350.

I called TA yesterday and they don't know how to measure it either. I am affraid that when the chain is too tight and eating my crank and cam bearings alive...

I ordered the 0.003 today. We will see. To try is not a option overseas.

.003 will be better. You might even have gotten away with a .005
    Looked pretty loose in vid.

With the shorter chain I would definitely degree the cam, don’t forget it’s going to be shorter on the tight side too, so that will pull the cam clockwise a tad, if I’m thinking correctly :D

Mark, it's not shorter chain, it's same.
Gears are made slightly oversize to take up the slack.

Now you gotta drive it fast before it warms up and stretches again:p

Put in the new 0.002 oversised dubble roller timing chain from TA. And slack is gone.
    Happy....

I hate to say this, but I know it will save you from having to do this all over again real soon.

what I mean is it does not look like you pre- lubed the chain up anywhere, and I mean anywhere to the point it needs to be!

it should be dunked in a can or bowl of oil and then each roller should be spun around to spread the oil thru the roller.

it may sound like I have COD, but the chain will live a normal life expectancy from taking 10 minutes to do it this way.

squirting the chain with a oil can as I have seen too many folks do will not get the job done the right way and you will be chewing up the new chain from right at the moment when you first start the motor!

^^^, Yep, looks like the 150 dollar 9 keyway billet gearset. Take it off & lube it up. Nice gearset!
