I'm replacing slip yoke on my drive shaft. Can't seem to find the right one online. From the center of the u-joint to the top of the barrel, mine measures 5 in. Everything online seems to be 5 and 1/2 in or 5.3 in. It's a 1970 Skylark with a turbo 350 transmission. The OD of the slip yoke is kind of buggered up. Thinking of fixing it with a speedy sleeve. Has anyone out there tried fixing these with a speedy sleeve?

They can be bought for under $75, I would just replace the silly thing. Take it to a transmission shop, they might even have some slip yokes in stock, or at least tell you the part number to get.

If it is a Turbo 350 or a power glide
    It is probably a 1350
    Jegs part # 873-U1662

call them if you have to make sure it is the one.
