Ertl Made 1/18 Metal 70 GS and GSX, and 66/67 GS's

A bunch of companies (Matchbox, Hotwheels, Johnny Lightning) have made the 66/67 and 70-72 GS's in 1/64 scale.
    Greenlight makes the 68/69 1/64 GS's

I think I remember seeing a 1/24 plastic kit some years back, but I can't remember what it was.

    I recently picked up a Black 70 GS on Ebay for $20. It's a 1/18 Ertl.
I'd suggest searching Ebay for something like that.

These are the only plastic Buick model kits ever produced as far as I know:

    1960 Buick
    1962 Electra 225
    1963 Riviera
    1964 Wildcat
    1966 Wildcat
    1966 Skylark dirt track
    1969 Riviera
    1970 Wildcat
1970-72 GSX (can't remember which year)
    1987 Grand National

I know there were never any '64/65/67-69 Skylarks made which reps from the manufacturers told me was because the interest wasn't there.

Amt made a kit (stock, custom and drag race version) of the 1966 Buick Skylark GS
They are old kits and I have a couple complete kits.
The last time I checked they were bringing good money for plastic

There are now 4 versions of the '70 GSX, that I've collected over the years, none others that I know of:

Discontinued/not available: Revell '70 GSX, molded in Yellow
Discontinued/not available: Monogram 2n1 '70 GSX Street Machine, molded in White
Discontinued/not available: Monogram 2n1 '70 GSX Street Machine, molded in Blue

Currently Available: Monogram 2n1 '70 GSX Street Machine, molded in Gold

I have at least one of every scale/color/brand/etc. GSX ever made, as they come available!
    1/18, 1/24, 1/25, 1/32, 1/64...
    Hot Wheels/Johnny Lightning/ERTL/Racing Champions/Revell/Monogram/Welly/...

Just missing the 1:1 scale, but that may be coming soon, too!

There is a resin kit of a '68 GS. It's expensive, hard to find, and only includes the body/interior/bumpers/windows. You need to pirate another kit to get the rest of the parts.
