Ozzy's Boneyard is my second favorite channel after Deep Tracks, although they sometimes play too much Beatles, whom I'm sick of hearing. The Deep Tracks of several years ago was much better with the lesser known artists getting lots of airplay. I wholly concur on Aerosmith and Pantera.
I used to listen to old radio shows on long trips when I was stationed in Oklahoma. Gunsmoke and Dragnet. I used to listen to Howard Stern on radio but since he went to satellite, he got a lot less funny.
We have had the lifetime subscription since 2005. It was $400. We are still listening to the music stations, news stations, sports stations and have it on the internet as well. I don’t think they do the lifetime anymore, but it would be worth it to me if they did.
I have free Sirius in the wagon. I got the Sirius module it was already turned on. I think it was from a dealer owners vehicle. As both Sirius and XM had a special for the owners. Lifetime service. I also have it in my Ranger and my Jetta. It is nice on long drives especially west as there are few stations out that way. Tim
Yes when the antenna loses contact with the satellite. Nearby tall buildings can also block the signal. There's also occasional dead spots where signals fade for no apparent reason.
I’ve been listening more and more to Outlaw Country. Elizabeth Cook is a fantastic, funny, and kinda sexy DJ.
I heard Nina Blackwood on ‘80s station, man she sounds HORRIBLE, horse voice, she have something wrong?
The company truck I drive had free trial Sirius when it was new. I listened daily until the trial period expired. I've been riding around with the radio off. I'll listen while it's free. Thanks for the heads up.
My bride also bought Sirius or XM when it first came out and got the lifetime membership. I notified them in February that she had passed, but as of this morning it still works. I'm not going to say anything again.
Very sorry to hear of your loss John. I have XM also and like it very much along with the Deep Tracks which I do like they do play Bruce Springcream too much lol, and they do have Deep Tracks with no commercials and a few other channels also do this. You can't go wrong with this plus I can get the business news and listen to what the market and economy is doing. You want Jazz, Water Colors is good, and you have to listen to the Boneyard with Ozzy, you should hear him do interviews and talking in general he is a hoot lol. You want Blues BB King on ch 74 is for you. There is a Grateful Dead channel, Tom Petty channel. etc. There is a boatload of anything you want to hear and I don't think it is too much money for this much entertainment, and sometimes better than watching that stupid box with crap news. Plus XM Sirius can go thru the stereo you know that is a plus jams of all kinds.
