What is the street/strip crowd using for crank and water pump pulleys? I have a manual steering box, no A/C, and a short TA water pump on my 1970 455. Would like to have single groove pulleys but seems factory and aftermarket pulleys are for multi groove applications only.
Ok. You have what I classify as a real car. I don’t have any power brakes or power steering,or AC. I have found some single-groove water pump pulleys, but I think all of the crank pulleys are at least 2-groove. The aftermarket aluminum ones are available in 2–groove and 3 groove. I have a 2-groove set for one of my 70’s that has the short water pump,so they do make them. You can either run a single belt, with a single-groove alternator pulley,or run twin belts with a 2-groove alternator pulley.
Did any GS come without power steering and brakes from factory? I know it’s a Chevy but my Chevelle is factory manual steering no ac power brakes. Now manual brakes
