1990 Chev "HD 3/4 ton" 4X4, 5.7 L (350), 3 sp auto with posi, rear. Reliable, rides best when it's carring 1000 lbs. Gas milage like your pouring it on the ground. Pulls like a freight train. 99% of the time were haulin show horses. :3gears:

Here is my tow rig. Just picked the truck up from a good friend (1984 Ford F-350 w/460 and C6) and the trailer is a new H&H 24' V-nose. Rides like a dream and tows like all get out.

I'll drudge this post up from the depths w/ a pic of my Dually hauling my '71. Its a 300 six cylinder powered '81 F350 w/ a 4spd. Darn truck pulls anything I can tie on to.
The pic was taken last March at the annual local car show down at the beach. The Riv actually got a ton of attention just sitting on the trailer out there. I had just pulled it out of where it had been sitting for the last 13 years. I guess all car guys like seeing a project car!

Loyd/Lou, I would have thought the Rainier would have been a little on the light side for pulling. :Do No: What's the towing capacity?

The Rainier towing capicity is around 7200 with the AWD option, Just the same size as the Trailblazer or the Envoy.

Here's a picture of my 93 Chevy C3500. Found it as a well maintained fleet vehicle and freshened it up with rebuild of the 454, new clutch, (yup, 5 spd and I love it), new brakes, interior, paint, wheels & tires, etc, etc.
I would like to move on to a turbo deisel in a 2001 or newer truck, with cushier interior, more creature comforts, blah-blah, to please the other passengers, (if you know what I mean!).
I would be interested in selling this truck if anyone would be interested.
    Thanks, Steve
