He is still doing cams, just talked to him a few weeks ago. Look up "competition Components" on google. He doesn't always anwser the phone, but he will get back to you. Email is probably the quickest way to get him.
Ok click on the Buick section on the left side of the page...It opens to a page that has a couple lists for gaskets, cams and others..When opening them it says No products currently exist within this category...That is my point.
He actually has several profiles that are available as pre ground, they were listed on his site at one point, but you are better off going thru Bobb at Finishline instead of Scott as they talked frequently
Thanks people. I have ran his cam for years and very pleased. Going to a slightly different setup and wanted to give him first shot. I have an old number but not sure it' s good as someone told me on here he wqas not doing Buicks anymore.
Scott is tough to get in touch with. He works a lot in the shop and doesn't answer the phone until he gets time. You may have to leave a message or two. I had my cam cut by Bullet. Explained what I wanted and what I have. Very helpful. Scott got back in touch with me after Bullet had cut mine and I gave him the specs of the cam that they cut for me based on my engine. He ran the numbers and said it was almost exactly what he would have done. Very happy with the results.
Thanks for the tips on reaching Scott. He has sent me a new cam. Had no trouble contacting him. Very helpful and a pleasure to do business with him. Jim N.
I just received a custom ground solid roller cam for s customers BBC 496 going into a '69 Camaro Road Race Car. Scott was easy to work with and got it to me on a timely manner. I will work with him on future projects. Larry
Yes, I had a very pleasant experience with Scott on the flat tappet cam he just sent me for my 470 BBB. Will always go to him first. Jim N.
