This is absolutely the stupidest feedback thread i have read. and some of the opinions here are almost as dumb.. no money changed hands.. therefore no seller and no buyer and that means no deal..let it rest and go find something constructive to do. ou:

Chris, There was money sent when i had my transaction with Jeff( and i have the proof) but when i found out that items had been removed from the car i was able to stop the transaction.. and for your info Chris i didnt make "a big stink" i was actually rather civil when Jeff resorted to juvenile tactics and made threats. the worst thing i did on that thread was make a little jab at him when he mispelled my name when it was spelled out for him in the bottom of my signature line just like it is here. and i later apologized in that very same thread. you personally have whined on this board over many transactions that didnt involve you where you had no personal loss whatsoever. ebay car comes to mind.. listing of NOS parts comes to mind, i bet if i do a search i can find lots more..dont bother reponding because as far as i'm concerned your just another one of the people who make this hobby much more frustrating than it needs to be and i wont bother with another response :moonu:

 

You Do Not Have A Clue

Bob to clear up some facts, the blue stage1 car on e-bay was almost in my drive way but after lots of hard work by other board members here they saved me from having a rusted none numbers matching piece of crap in my shop, I sold my black 70 GS 455 car for it so yes I was DIRECTLY involved. Next I was in line for some of the NOS parts so again I was DIRECTLY involved. And next and most impotant I had a set of stage2 se heads for sale and you got on my post and pm'd me saying you were buying my heads only to turn around and back out on me 2 days later because you did not read the add correctly. You stopped the transaction o No: thats not what you said last week. You said the post office returned the money order. Not 1 dollar change hands between you and Jeff. You are nothing less then a trouble maker. By the way I have sold many items on here and not once have I screwed one board member over in any way shape or form but you on the other hand are a buy now ask questions later. I suggest you get your facts clear before you point fingers and shoot your mouth off.If you look at the bottom of the page I did end up buying a 72 stage1 car in the end. Chris

Chris. you are flat out a liar.. i PM'd you asking if that price included assy.. you said no heads. you saying that i said i agreed to buy them is a flat out Lie. and exactly what i said about Jeff and my transaction was that i had sent a cashiers check for 3500.00 by mail and it did not arrive.. I got my bank to stop payment on the cashiers check after i found out that Jeff had removed items from the car and it did not get to it's intended destination. so before you go sticking your nnose into a situation you have no fuirst hand knowledge of i suggest you get pour facts straight, you'll notice that Jeff never denied anything that i said in the thread.. instead he chose to tell me i better not run into him at a buick event.. once again you saying i agreed to buy the heads is and was a LIE.. :af:

 

Personal attacks

Brett, Andrew posted his complaints in the right spot did he not. I jumped in only because people were attacking him for no reason, this is how the deal with Jeff got started last week. This is for two board members to work out. Andrew posted his story, Ryan should have been given a chance to respond and try and work this out. As you can see bob's attacks on board members are on totally uncalled for. I was 100% involved in the blue car and NOS parts. In my eyes the wrong person suspended. Chris

OK, after much talk here I would like to say a few things. First my point to Andrew I have said and will say it again I am truely sorry for the problems on my parts for sale ad. I thought I cleared up everything with my post (guess I was wrong) I droped the ball BIG TIME!! I stated I would list my parts for sale one at a time when I was ready to deal with things. I also think the new rules are great. I now just look at who posted first and contact them and if they pass I then move the the next person ect ect but when I posted my items for sale I was overwelmed with calls, emails, PM;s, and post (who contacted me first???? o No: ) I was not trying to up the price or do anyone wrong.. Andrew you have more than once posted I am a deadbeat seller and you can say that.. I am big boy I can take it like a man and say I am wrong and you are free to buy from someone else do not missunderstand I bear no ill will toward you what so ever.


To everyone that came to my defence you will never know how much it means to me that you steped up and spoke well of me Thank you very much.

I have to stick up for Chris on this one. I completely agree with the above. I 've bought some stuff from people on this board. Some guys work fast, some are pretty slow. I wasn't in any hurry for the stuff so it was no big deal and I didn't complain. I'm pretty sure that the guys I dealt with that were slow would have had worked faster if there was urgency. I have nothing negative to say about any transactions I've had from board members. I have practically zero knowledge of Andrew and Ryans deal but I totally agree with the CONCEPT of making it public knowledge if a guy advertises stuff, tells you you're first in line and then never follows through. I want to know who these guys are so I don't waste my time. I would think the rest of you guys would want to know if I had a bad experience with a seller from this board and I would share it here in this section.

And here is another Thread that could have been sorted out between two board members if they were left alone. There needs to be a new rule, NO posting in the feed back section unless you are the two people involved, if you have a problem start your own thread. Ryan I hope you understand I was not hacking you at all, Like I stated I knew you were overwhelmed thats why I gave space on are deal. I would buy parts from you anytime.Chris

actually chris. i knew i was going to sell the shaft. i responded to josh's wanted post and told him that i have a th400 shaft and that i will have to remove it and check the condition, he was willing to wait. After i checked the condition, we then talked about a price. No one else on the board helped him out so wouldnt you say it was worth the wait? no complaints from him. The main thing is. There really was no reason for this entire 2 page post. The guy said he had something for sale. he may be slow to respond but thats reasonable. im gone from home 3 weeks out of every month.Give the guy a break. He didnt take any money from any1. Some people need to just accept the fact, that if the other person doesnt give you what you are asking for. move on and find a new dealer. Dont start a huge post about the guy not being a good seller. im fairly new to this website and enjoy it. I hate to see this stuff starting up over stupid little things. This is like going no ebay and whining about some1 out bidding you and you loosing it. GET OVER IT! go find someone else that is selling the part you need!!

 

I would like to thank you Ryan for coming forward and letting us know what really happened, after all that was all I was after. We spoke by pm's, and also in the thread. But your last post was over a month ago and I had been promised pics so I could decide if I wanted to buy them. I guess when I saw you list other parts for sale like the console you have and having seen also that you posted a picture in your thread it kind of sent me overboard that you had time to deal with new transactions and take pictures,but not finish the ones that were two months old and three promises later. That is where my problem lies, but as I said I do appreciate you coming forward and bringing your side to light and manning up to what happened.

I could go on all day about this whole deal but I also think there is still a problem here because Brett you are the mod of this section and you told me I really had no right to post my experience in this section since I did not send any money, but does the transfer of money make the difference between being able to post in this section or not? Is it not the overall experience that counts? Does your statement still stand??? Or was my thread here worthy in any nature regarding the sticky???

The bottom bottom bottom line here guys is when dealing with selling and buying parts you need to be upfront if you have other things going on, or at least keep in touch with the intended parties to keep everyone informed of what is happening. I know for a fact that this is not hard to do because I practice it myself. I also agree with Chris that if I post a thread in this section I really do not see any need to intervene with opinions of any form, it's more or less a way for the two parties to voice there opinions and hash things out. Or at least that is the way I see it. Chris thanks again for having my back on this. It seems as though you and I are having to stick up for each other more often these days. Lets just hope it does not continue to be a trend.
