What particular areas of rust do I need to watch out for in this era of convertible? I see from another recent thread that the boxed frame sections can rust from the inside from road salt and grime. Any place else? This one has a hole in the trunk floor where it meets the rearmost inboard side of the wheel well. Thanks in advance.
Both frame rails directly below the firewall, windshield channel, and usual spots around the rear wheel wells. If it already has rust evidence, there's likely more of that in the less obvious locations. I would also look beneath the top storage well.
