    What's the c-c dimension on that 180?

I have a tool very much like that, the 180 was too tight, but it could not bend two 90's close enough. it needed a dimension right in the middle of those two, to put the line in the holder off the water pump correctly, and then miss the PS belt, with the line in the factory position.

I first attempted to modify a Stock Stage 1 line, but that puts the bend up by the distributor about he same height as the plug wires, instead of in the middle of the distributor cap where it should be.

The 4 points where it must fit properly for a 70 car, that I was working on, are..

    1. At the carb..most of the repro lines are too long coming out of the carb, and will crash into the Air cleaner support bracket. You have to bend them to miss the bracket.

    2. Needs to pass by the distributor cap about halfway up the cap, so as to not interfere with the plug wires.

3 Must fit the clip bolted to the outermost water pump bolt. This puts the line about even with the water pump/timing cover mating area.

    4. And then enter the pump, while providing clearance for the PS belt. The later 2 and 3 groove pulleys put that belt closer to the fuel pump than the 67 pulley shown in this thread.

The c-c dimension on the 180 is 2”. A traditional double 90 with the Blue Point bender is 3”, and I think if you really tried you could make something in between. It’s hard to tell from a picture, but I suspect the 180 would work fine on the Rob M pump, either in the position that Bob has it in or turned 90°.
