What year is the cap from? A cone cap would look like a cone, maybe a couple inches deep, like a cylinder with a taper towards the R on the end. If it's from the boattail vintage, I'll take it. Those would be a silver cap with a black "R"
Yardley where's your wheel well chrome ? I looked at a 68' Riviera yesterday with my dad and was it beautiful. Best car i ever saw. Made me feel like i was back in 1968. ( Of course i'd be pissing in my diaper at 1 years of age , but it took me back. $25,000 was the asking price. :jd: It was all white inside and out.

If anybody is still looking for some cone caps,..I have four. I have a 65 Riv and bought some repros. They are used (not perfect,..but good shape) cone shaped with the -R- in the center. I'll never use these,..they are inncorrect for 65. Make me an offer and we shall deal.
Mine were all mangled, but I finally picked up a set of 4 (nice and polished) and installed them. Yes, they make the car look completely different! Finished, is the word I'd use. No pics yet. Should get some next week after all the detailing for Salem is finished.
