:TU: Just dropped off my 64 skylark without a scratch, great guy to deal with anybody need to ship a car or some parts he`s your guy. Thanks again Rick.
i'll second that. he has hauled a bunch of cars around the U.S. and Canada for alot of us board members. i tell you, it is nice to have someone like Rick on the job. you get that old fashioned caring that is so hard to find nowdays. he will treat your car as if it were his baby, not like some disinterested individual who sees it as just another load. that kind of dedication is priceless. i guess if he delivered your car already then i better get ready for my latest GS to arrive here tomorrow. i cant wait.
Hear Hear Met Rick about a aweek ago, and was VERY professional and new what he was doing from the get go!!! had all the bases covered. Very nice Guy
Thanks Guys! I have the best time talking to each and everyone of you. I wish that I could make more time for each stop. You all have interesting stories and projects to share. Thank you for allowing me to do business with you all. Really its me that should be that should be most appreciative. I know that you get your car, or your parts, but its me that gets to see the countryside on your dime. I have seen some amazing things across this great country we have. From the most brilliant sunrises to the most romantic and dazzling sunsets (just need to find that someone special to share it with) to the highest road in the United States to the hottest place in the country. When I think that I have seen it all, I wake up to another day with a fresh mental canvas and drive upon something new and exciting. Tomorrow, I am making plans on getting my son to Florida to watch the lift off of the Space Shuttle on July 13th. If I can work it out with some deliveries, I hope to be able to fly home from somewhere in Florida and pick up my son and fly back with him. After we watch the liftoff (if it happens on time) I will treat him to some Florida beaches and maybe a day or two to Universal or Disneyworld. He is 10, and I know that would be something that he would never forget. Then we will drive home and take the long way to his mothers home. Thanks again guys and gals. :3gears:
transporting a 72 buick electra Hello I'm trying to contact rick to see how much it would be and how soon would he be able to transport a 72 buick electra 4 door from indianapolis, indiana to Milwaukee, wi. If possible this weekend would be perfect if the price is right.
Hey Guys! Rick has 3 engines he's been carting around the lower 48 to take to Jim W's to assemble. :TU: Mine happens to be one of those engines and if you guys keep him on the road delivering cars I may NEVER see my 400 again. On a serious note, Rick is a great guy. If you need a car transported he's the BEST! Harvey
Mine's in there too! It was last seen spinning a rod bearing in February, while running 106 mph in th 1/4 and crossing the line in 2nd gear! It's great how things have started moving for Rick, unfortunately his only seat-time isn't in his own race car... :ball: Keep Rick busy, just let him finish off those motors in the back of the truck. :Brow: I've got a BOP to make in the fall.
Hey Guys, I have those motors out of the truck and semi organized on the shelf tonight. They will be all put together soon. Thanks for being patient with me. Steven (my son) and I are going to see the hurricane and swim with the sharks for a week or so in Florida and hopefully watch the lift off of the shuttle on the 13th. Lets hope that they will launch on time, right
Rick, if all these travel plans coincide with you short visit to Nebraska with a certain 2 tone T-Type, let me know. There is a spare parking stall here and we can get you to Omaha for your flight and pick you and your son up for the trip south. PM if you need anything!! :TU:
Thanks Greg. I already went to Anoka, Minesota and then took a flight to pick up my son in Seattle. His mom was nice enough to bring him to the airport for the flight back to Minesota. We have drove all the way to Virginia and expect to be in Florida before Wednesday to watch the lift off. That is if all goes as expected with the shuttle. Thanks Again.
Hi Rick Good luck with the launch! That will be very exciting. Are you going to be anywhere near Chesterland, Ohio in your travels. Tabco is in that city and if you are going to be near there I would like you to pick up a reproduction quarter panel for me. Let me know. It's certainly not urgent by any means. Only if you might be close. Thanks Harvey
hello, does anyone know what he charges(or if ricks this-what do you charge), project car, roller, from about chicago area to cape cod mass, no time fram, deal may not pan out, but would like to know for future, thanks john.
Just give him a call, his cell number is above. He's currently in FL. He was going to watch the shuttle launch with his son. I'm guessing they're doing Disneyworld while they're there.
I have to also chime in as Rick has hauled for me twice . Both times were flawless . I wonder if he wants to go to Las Vegas for me if things work out that is .
Hey Rick, it's not the same around here. Miss my old Buick racing buddy. Hope you're seeing as much of the country as you can. Buick representation here in the pacific northwest needs a little help and you have made a difference. Have fun brother!!! John.
