I could swear I have seen this?? Does anyone have it or a link? Also -- what are you using as a reinforcing plate inside the door?
68 and 69 possibly use a different template as there was a body style change. . The mirror will not require anything done inside the door but will have a bracket that mounts directly to the door then the mirror attaches to the bracket with one screw. Every NOS onecI have mounted has gone in the same location as the drivers side mirror.
Thanks @My3Buicks --I'm sure you are right about 69 vs 68. My car actually has some holes (bondo filled now) but I'm not convinced they are in the right spot -- nor straight. I could swear someone had the template but I can't find it!
