So my dad and I have a 62 LeSabre it's been sitting since 2013. We decided to pull it out of storage and get some work done to it at my friends shop, American Custom and Classics in Hollister CA. What we though was going to be a tune up and some small work turned into a full engine, suspension and brake rebuild. The engine had low compression and a broken exhaust valve. The brakes were shot and the front end needs new bushings and a center link.
Not original paint, its on its third paint job, the original color was white that went bad then it was forest green and the clear coat went bad due to a bad paint shop. we had it painted in 2000, but I think we are going to repaint it again.
Brake Master cylinder has been rebuilt and sand blasted some engine parts and painted some, engine bay is almost ready for paint. Rims were sand blasted and painted and tires mounted. 215/75-15 tires for the front and 235/70-15 for the rear.
Back on four wheels and now the fuel system will be checked out and waiting on the engine to be rebuilt.
