i have experienced cheap quality aftermarket parts before. i would rather pay for something once and have it last.

nailhead you are easily the best thing that has happened to me today! i appreciate all of your knowledge and info. so basically im gonna have a hard time finding motor mounts for the 455. this is a real bummer. unless i can find the mounts from an electra lesabre or centurion and cut the mount 3/8' lower. i was hoping there was an aftermarket 455 mount even if it had to be modified. thank you again!

wow man. if those part numbers end up working i will be in the clear! i read the entire thread. it sounds like others have had trouble getting the correct pads and mounts to fit their cars. it sounds tricky getting the 455 to sit in the correct spot and be level. it also sounds like getting the headers to fit is troublesome. thank you again man. i learned a lot from you today.

3.42 is the factory performance gear for the colonnades unless it was a special order or dealer installed.

the regal got dropped off today for glass bead blasting. the project is moving along.

  15. No Need really, used to be a huge vw fan, rail, and dune buggy owner, and noticed it looked like it had a dual carb setup on it
