Restoring 1971 GS Stage 1 Alternator 1100891

    All, I noticed on Stellar's avatar he has a couple of stamps adding detail to that alternator.
    What stamps have you seen on our alternators?

    Whatever 2 letter code is found in the alternator box of the build sheet will be stamped on the alternator.

    Mine is BD and I'm not sure what '71 is but maybe Duane or someone else will chime in.

    Let me ask Dave Johnson....

    Dave says the 2 letter code on a '71 would be AZ.

    Considering my alternator is stamped BD, I'm not sure what rhyme or reason determines what the letters signify.
