    1) Wondering if someone has found a reliable source for rust repair panels for this era of full size Buicks. To date, this is the only source I have seen: http://www.c2cfabrication.com/collections/buick-lesabre-parts

Unfortunately they don't carry a trunk pan or any quarter panel pieces (as you know common rust areas...) Has anyone used this supplier or found a cross reference for a few impala parts that can be tweaked?

    2) Anyone recommend a good restoration guy in Boston area (southern NH as well) -- not frame off but I want someone that can skillfully repair some rusty areas in my 1968 Wildcat Conv...

When I had the body work done on my '70, there was some lower half quarter panels available, but they were thin Chinese stampings. My body guy said it would be more work to make them fit than for him to make a whole panel himself.

My 68 Wildcat was full of deadly rust when bought cheap (well, cheap for Australia.....) I had large floor pan and trunk repairs using tweaked Impala metal. Easy to get Impala stuff here, hard-to-impossible to source Wildcat sheet metal, and waaaaaay too much hassle trying to source it and then ship it ex-USA to Australia.

The creative guys in my resto shop said the Impala stuff worked pretty good, give or take some adjustment with the #1 tool :)

It passed state inspection and you can't see the joins under the carpet, etc.

But then, I am not a concours kinda guy who will wait years for the correct bit.

I've driven mine 5000 miles in the last year or so.

DVAP probably has what you need. Not exactly cheap though. They had a LOT of sixties full size Buicks when I visited last spring.

Thanks I had considered that as well -- especially for the trunk. Great looking cat -- what color is that?

Good to know -- especially for a fender or another piece of "outside" sheetmetal

Try out OPGI. Just found floor pans for my 67 Riviera.

@flynbuick We ended up making patches. These pieces are ok but not a proper fit.
