Removing the fuel tank on 71 Sportwagon?

With going with the Sniper system I am needing to pull my gas tank. How? Can anyone give me some info on the job?

If I remember correctly there is a floor pan under the tank.

If that is the case then the tank would have to come out from inside the car.

Also the tank if good, would be a marketable item. They are pretty hard to find.

Look behind drivers side wheel well there is a removable panel. Not sure what it takes to remove the gas tank. I've attached a scan from the service manual

 

Got it in process to remove. I would suggest an extra deep 9/16 in socket. to get it out.
