Does anybody know of a good engine builder in SE Washington state? Somebody who speaks Buick?

Alternately, if I have to go to whatever shop is local, are there any key points to stress when having the heads re-worked?

I have a 45k engine in good shape that I am putting a new cam in and generally cleaning up and while the heads look (to me) to be fine, I am wondering if it might not be prudent to take them down and get them rebuilt while they are out of the car. Thoughts?

    alec296 i need another buick

If it was running fine, I would say leave them alone except for springs for bigger cam. Maybe mill them for flatness, or mill extra to bump compression up if it’s a lower compression engine and your not changing pistons . I would replace cam bearing in front with a ta performance backgrooved one.recurve distributor also.

Might want to swap in new valve seals. You can get some very nice silicon umbrella seals these days, those require no machining of the valve guides.
