The P-Box on the Pinion are leaking much.
If i mark the Nut old possision, can it be done without having noise in the Axle.
    Thanks Goran

What I've done in the past especially when a new crush collar is not readily available. I take a socket that just fits inside the collar. Put the collar & socket on a solid, stable space, like flat part of a vise. Measure with calipers the length of the collar beforehand. Now tap the collar on the raised area. This will take something more than light hits. Keep rolling it to a new spot while hitting it (you may have to increase the size of the socket) until you've made one full turn measuring in between.
You will notice it getting longer. Now you can torque/tighten the nut more properly.
Has worked for me MANY TIMES over the years.

Tom, that does work ...but he just wants to replace a seal. So he is not going to be getting at the crush sleeve. Jim

We have done that trick a big weekend races ...will leave the crush sleeve on the pinion and tap away until we get some length back to the collar. It can save you big time and does work well.

With the seal out the bearing is readily removable.

That should be a press fit bearing...IF it is not, it is worn out... When rears are disassembled we have to drive the pinion out with a center punch drift after the carrier is removed. Sooo if you can get that outer bearing off the pinion YOU HAVE more issues AGAIN. :) Jim
