    So tired of requesting prayer.

Basically feel like my soul and guts have been ripped out and ready to just give up.

So if you feel led pray for God to give me wisdom knowledge & discernment & if you are just curious about the post and don’t give a damn feel free to curse me but already there (damned).

Wish I knew what I did or didn’t do to live a lifetime like this but hopefully God will just take me home soon as I have zero emotions either way.

Been blessed but cursed with myself

Was good to talk to you this morning Fritz. Seemed like you were sounding better but apparently not (hated to "like" your post but...). Hang in there brother. I'm pretty emotionally dead as well. Been through the ringer although probably not as bad as you. Feel free to call if it helps. As I said, you're a good person and in the end that's what matters.

Thanks fellas. Yes Dano I was definitely feeling better because instead of feeling purposeless I felt like just reaching out to help a total stranger who was going through a rough patch (Charles with the Buick’s) helped not only him but a good friend like you & the further super rare common business focus & potential for other opportunities felt like it HAD to be than a mere coincidence to me.
    That felt good.
As soon as the call ended though whatever feeling of “light at the end of the tunnel “ was immediately submerged into the dark swamp I have been in.
I was praying last night God would just pleeeeeeease take me home, but it never happens even if I really force the envelope.
I do know helping others without expectations but solely being there to provide a smile and a laugh while helping them up in a selfish way helps not only that person but myself (better to give than receive).
That said I don’t know what’s been the recent last straw on the camels back.
Maybe it the family deaths & close approaching ones? My Dad (best car buddy too been dead 18 years). The then father-in-law this past year, mom is 98 and my brother has terminal cancer and that’s on top of the stuff I normally can barely shoulder so there could be that.

Oops, just got a call from my wife that our sons fiancé‘s car won’t run so going to quit my complaining here and continue to help people where I can.

Don’t be surprised if you start seeing me unloading all my Buick stuff it’s been so long even having something decent to drive much less a Buick that I guess it just isn’t in the cards for me anymore.

OK got to get some tools together and get on the road. Y’all take care

(side note - make the son and/or soon to be spousal unit do the wrenching; builds character, they'll learn, and you can drink a coldsnack in the shade while bossing them:cool:).
I LIKE the way you think.
    It just needed a beating with a hammer…..the car….not
Then came the ole “Buttttt howwwwww much will that cossssssssst won’t it be a lot?”
Son did Car Ministry for years but it was mainly to keep widows & single Mons from getting ripped off and maintaining their cars and doing minor repairs (CO2 sensors, brakes, belts, tire rotations, oil changes, plugs etc) to keep the line moving and keep the ladies vehicles safe, so he never did starter work and has a new job “Senior Banker”(very proud of him).
Anyhow, we already know who will do the repair, Napa has a killer “bucket deal” on buying 3 things at full price then get 20% off so he entered 3 Hot Wheel cars and got me the 2004 Matrix XR starter for under a hundred bucks with core.
Sorry Buick, this is why you never get any lovin.
Anyhow, will keep my mind busy for a bit.
Still likin the big stick idea though!:D

Fritzee, I spent 12 years looking at my Wildcat literally sitting in boxes. Every opportunity to get it done - for over a decade - was interrupted by something I felt at the time (and still do) was more important. Yep, it's done now, and the diseases I've acquired have kept it in the garage far longer than it deserves. I get depressed every time I open the garage door, but it passes fast - I still have a pulse, and as long as that continues, I'm gonna keep pushing to be able to drive her the way she was designed. I never learned how to quit. You've never impressed me as someone who knows the meaning of that word either, and don't you ever learn it! The reason God puts you into turbulent waters is because He knows your enemies can't swim!

Praying for you Fritz. In my darkest moments, Psalm 34:18 has given me hope. "God is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Excellent verse Eddie thank you so much! Nailed the “broken heart & crushed spirit” now I just need to add some Isaiah 40:31 and I have a game plan : )
Thank you to each of you who reach out,I have been so confused, overwhelmed & over tasked with my injuries,I haven’t been able to remotely focus & with all the demands on me I have been slipping into pretty great despair & stagnated.
God and my brothers and sisters in Christ & friends are helping me out of this morbid pit though.
Really weak but I have not surrendered yet and God hasn’t called me home yet so I will just need to set reasonable goals on what I can do & if one day God wants me behind the wheel of a Buick again smiling ear to ear He can make that happen EASY. Gotta fix the @On the Fritz” first! ; )
    Thank all of you.
    Isaiah 40:31
31 but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
    They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Dammit Fritz, I am sure that you have more stories to tell around the table at the next GS Nats. Keep the faith Brother and don't let it get you down. Life is a bitch sometimes, but you can pull through. Prayers sent.

I DEFINITELY have more stories to tell:D!
If never ceases to amaze me all the cool memories I have totally forgotten about until I hear someone mention on tiny thing that reminds me.
Glad I got um stored up while I was a youngster cuz I will be sliding in all used up some day.
I don’t need this human body much anymore though for memories,I NEED (okaaaaaaay really reeeeeeally “WANT”!) a running Buick “body”!
I must endure the human garbage and STILL devise a plan to get one somehow.
Anyhow caved in today to go to physical therapy for my trashed back and looking for surgeon referrals for all my whoas so maybe I can ultimately get a few hours a day pain free in preparation for boiling rubber & jammin gears!
Makes me feel better just thinking about it heh heh!
