Hello, I have a 1969 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible. I'm trying to freshen up the dash area. Does anyone know the original color of the radio bezel and instrument cluster bezel? The plastic part where the headlight knob and heater controls are. Thanks!
I used the Krylon Fusion Metallic Aluminum on my radio bezel, however, it is a shade darker than the original silver color. If you're doing both though, no one would ever notice the shade of difference. Originally I used Rustoleum aluminum color. It was a closer match, but never cured well enough and and came off on my fingers when I went to put it back in, even though I waited for a few days. Ended up buying another one to repaint with the Krylon. I hate Rustoleum...
