Cheetah, simple and fool proof. Still run in two cars for 20 years.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Well I got my new shifter, I went with a Precision Performance Products Kwik Shift 1.
I made a bracket to raise the shifter up off of the Trans tunnel. I really like the way it moves thru the gears.

Make a vid of the shifter working in auto once it gets all hooked up.

Briz it's a full manual valve body so it's got to be manually shifted every time.

it looks like theres some sort of solenoid built into the bottom of the unit. Usually powered by 12V or air with a controller wired into your tach feed.I had a Shiftnoid on my Prostick.

Is it a Kwik 1 or a Kwik 2? I thought the Kwik 1 couldn't be converted to air shift but the Kwik 2 and Powershift could. I'm only asking because I will be buying one and I want to have the option to add air shift.
    Looks good

Ok, my bad. It's a Power Shift 1. It comes with the air cylinder so it is easily upgrade able to air-shift. It was the most expensive one listed, $415.00 plus cable etc. I think with shipping from Washington state it was just under $600.00. This car has an MSD 7 box, so it should be easy to get the RPM signal to trigger the shifter. I didn't order the CO2 shift kit yet, I figured I would try it by hand first to see how I liked it. Knowing that I could always upgrade later.
