    Hi All,

Last year I bought a Currie 9" crate axle when they were doing their Thanksgiving deals and I am now adding on my new QA1 coil-over kit and noticing that the lower shock mount is different between stock and Currie and wondering if anybody else has encountered this before.

Basically, the Currie bracket looks like a piece of, maybe, 1.5" square tube cut in half lengthwise with no side support, the bracket on my stock 10 bolt has that little bend towards the end where the shock bolts and then there is that side part at a 90deg angle (both stock features are reflected in the QA1 brackets).

I can probably weld in a wedge-shaped piece of metal that connects the shock mount to the control arm mount (assuming their is no interference), but I wanted to check here to see if anybody else had already solved this either via fabrication or a different coil-over mount kit.

    Thanks,
    Ray
