Mel, That choke thermostat spring will work with with the B4B. You'll need to fabricate a rod for it, source a cover and find a small self tapping screw to affix it to the intake pad as well. Here's a cover: https://www.ebay.com/itm/382494403082

I've sold a few of those to folks with Buick and other divorced choke set-ups when the original parts aren't available and/or they are using an aftermarket intake. This one is the most common. https://cliffshighperformance.com/product/choke-divorced-thermostats There are two versions available, pulls down on the right or on the left. They can be reversed if needed with a little effort if you end up with the wrong one. You can bend a custom link up to the carb from a piece of aluminum TIG wire. It bends a LOT easier than steel rod and available in the correct diameter........
