No experience here but it would take examples from 66-67 chevelles...there are many examples... depends on how big of a tire you want.
frame notch needed? what rear end length do you plan on running.
i am sure there is a lot of the shelf parts for 66 chevelles that will 90% fit your Buick.

Will be following along for examples here! I did see a couple on the Power Tour but don’t know the details. They looked great though!

this is the GS frame for my 65. Ill be notching the frame and reinforcing it in key locations. Probably will make a build thread, Just not sure where Ill put it yet. Not building a drag car byt am building a 482 that will probably get a 5 speed.

Notch the frame no need for a kit it is easy, mini tub, then 335's will fit with7.5in backspacing on a 12" rim. It close but you can always give yourself wiggle room with 315's

On a stock chassis with a rolled fender lip, I was only able to fit 255R-15s on the back end of my 67 GS400. I started with a 15 × 10in wide (with 6in backspacing) rallye wheel from Wheel Vintiques. I was told by other sites that I should easily fit a 295R tire on my car. When that didn't fit, I tried a 285R, then a 275R, then a 265R.....

.....until I tried the 255R, which gave me approx .25in clearance to the frame at the forward inboard section of the tire, and approx .25in clearance to the fender lip at the top on the outboard side. I'm so glad that the shop that I purchased my tires from (Belle Tire - South Lansing) worked with me and allowed me to swap out the tires that wouldn't fit.
