    It sounds like your dad would have appreciated reading his own biography. I’m not sure our society creates quite the same cut of man these days. Your loss is our loss. Thanks for sharing and my condolences to your whole family.

    I showed this to my brother -- he noted that the missile silo duty was not Kansas, the Titan stuff was another date, yada yada yada. Hey, I have a horrible memory -- details, schmetails.

    But he also burst out laughing and said the one part that was 100% factually accurate was "remarried too soon to a psychotic bitch".

    Thanks to all of you for your kind replies, thoughts, and prayers. Buick women are the best, but you Buick guys are a close second.
