My sister has been going through quite an ordeal with ovarian cancer. I wish I had her strength and positive outlook. Having lost our father almost 7 years ago from cancer, I found tremendous comfort from members here. All she wants to do is get back to work at the airline she has worked for over 39 years. My only sister has always been career minded, busy ,and loving. Through the years, I knew she had to be strong growing up with five brothers. But I feel her struggle and her pain each and every day. All of the members in the small little church here in the hills pray for her which is so uplifting. Most members dont even know her. As the good merciful and loving God has promised, He is always there. In my most recent conversation with her she said she felt the spirit on sunday night as the prayers went out! I cannot help shedding tears when she thanks my sweet wife and me for our prayers, as I know her outlook is not good.Reading a letter from her asking if I knew the wearabouts of one of our lost brothers explaining she wants to get her will in order, only verifies her acceptance. So I ask for your prayers for her comfort,for my lost brother and for myself to have the strength once again to say goodbye to a very much loved family member. God Bless
I lost my oldest sister 30 years ago to ovarian cancer. She fought a long time and had a difficult battle. I prayed for her healing and expected it. But she was tied of fighting and ready to go on. She died the night after I came home to visit her. She received the ultimate healing and was at rest. I pray that God's Holy Spirit will give all your family the rest and peace that you need as well as lead your brother to redemption.
Cancer is a tough fight. Been thru the battle to many times with family. Give her all your support. My Prayers are with you and your sister. Fred
